Projects
Sharing our work.
Stamp and Color
This project was a stamp and color patio. This is the stage of sealing the concrete for that beautiful gloss shine that makes the color really pop! We have a finish that contains a sand like additive for friction to insure throughout Colorado's weather swings you can walk on your project with confidence that you won't slip.
Joint Cuts
Cutting joints is important to most, if not all, jobs to reduce the pressure on the project from cracking. Because we live in the Rockies it means that our ground will shift, contract and expand with weather changes etc., and this can cause changes to the project to occur but cutting those joints definitely assist in prolonging your projects life. It also assists in directing water away from the home and into the grass. For homes in specific areas, we can create a deliberate gentle slant that will encourage that even more. Talk to your contractor about all of your concerns and desires and we will customize the work to your needs.
Foundation Retaining Wall
Retaining walls are used in geotechnical engineering primarily to reinforce soil, increase its bearing capacity and increase the soil's resistance to differential settlement. They're designed to create level areas on sloping sites, provide additional support to natural slopes and to build terraces for infrastructure.
While Retaining walls keep dirt or soil in place, they can also be used as a landscaping feature to section off an area of a backyard or patio. Often made from stone or concrete, these structures are both a functional landscaping element and an aesthetic design feature.
Pathway
Framing and building a pathway that will allow the landscapers to come in behind us and fill in the yard, and gaps in between, with grass and mulch to the customers design preference.
Large Driveway
This driveway was roughly 20 feet by 100 feet. In this project we created a slight slant down from the house to the grass but additionally from the patio to the driveway as well to encourage water to run away from the house in both directions. No job too to large or to complicated.
